The authors suggest adopting certain best practices and recommendations to ensure compliance, including frequently checking guidance for updates, obtaining proper consent from patients, carefully reviewing requirements to prescribe controlled substances via telehealth, complying with the scope of a provider’s license and reviewing recordkeeping requirements.
